Katie is doing well. She has a large indentation in her right buttock but the wound is healing nicely. They still make weekly trips to the hospital. She has gained back all the weight lost. She is being tutored to make up for the lost school time. Needless to say she is enjoying being home and around her animals. She is allowed to go out the the barn to see her horse but not for a long period of time. Barns are not the cleanest places so she exercises care out there. She is walking a little better each week.

Thanks again for all your prayers, thoughts and vines.

I will update again when more progress is made.

Sending continued Great Healing Vines to Katie.
Thanks for the update Barbara. :YMHUG:

This is absolutely wonderful news. Thanks for sharing, Barbara. What a fighter our Katie is!!!! And I do feel like she is part of our LL family!!

Yep, Katie is definitely part of our LL family, and she will be a terrific vet someday. So happy to hear this good progress report. Thanks, Barbara. More beautiful healing vines are on their way to Katie.

Thanks for the update on Katie! I'm so glad to hear how well she is coming along .. Continued prayers being sent their way ..

This news makes me so happy! Barbara, thank you for keeping us informed. I worried so much about brave Katie and her recovery. It is wonderful that she is winning her battle against such a horrible bacterial infection. My daughter's friend from college lost her leg to necrotizing fascititis. So we are very aware of the sudden and extreme danger. Very glad that Katie seems to be past that point. :-D

Woohoo, Katie! What a great report. Thank you, Barbara. That's great that gets to visit the horse. She'll be riding soon. :-D :-D :-D

Thanks so much for the update. Sorry I missed it yesterday.
