Furball was happy & purry this morning. She has decided she likes Lucky's cottage cheese. Does anyone know if cottage cheese is low carb or high carb? She always did like milk, but I quit giving it to her when she was diagnosed with fd.

I'm sorry I didn't visit any condos last night. This thing with Lucky is so depressing. He had perked up after I first started giving him the cottage cheese and flaxseed oil. Then yesterday, he took a sudden turn for the worse. He's not doing very well this morning. He still purrs when I pet him though.

I don't have any idea about cottage cheese. I hope Furball slides down for a pretty blue surf today. It's great that she is so happy and purry.

Poor Lucky! It breaks my heart to see them like that, I am so sorry. Extra love and prayers for Lucky today.

I hope you have a good day Carla. I know it's tough when you are worried.

J.D. loves milk. I still let him have a bit once in a great while. I would think cottage cheese would be low in carbs.

I have no idea on the cottage cheese. Our kitties don't like milk. :o That seems unnatural. Healing vines for Lucky. Big hugs Carla!!

Morning Carla, hoping Furball has a nice slide today. I'm not sure on the carbs in cottage cheese either. Mags loves plain yogurt. I sometimes use it to slip in her meds.
So sorry to hear Lucky's not doing well. Sending tons of healing vines and prayers. I hope she rallies.

Good morning, Carla. Don't know about cottage cheese as it is one of those foods that I cannot force myself to eat. I'm one of those weird people where food texture can make or break me!!!! @-) Glad to hear that Furball is doing well today. Hope she has a nice little slide into the blues today (greens would be nice, too!) Sending healing vines and appy vines to Lucky. Come on sweet boy. Your mama bean loves you!! Hi Carla! I'm doing a little visiting today and thought Gobs and I would say Hi to you & Furball. I thought that cottage cheese was low carbs, but not sure, so I found this online for you:

Cottage Cheese: Carbs
Cottage Cheese - Creamed - Large Or Small Curd, (4 oz) 3 c
Cottage Cheese - Lowfat - 1% Milkfat, (4 oz) 3 c
Cottage Cheese - Nonfat, uncreamed - Large Or Small Curd, (4 oz) 2 c

I feel so bad for you,with Lucky not doing well. It's so hard to see our babies sick. :cry:
I just looked at the container, and there is 4 grams of sugar in 1/2 cup, (8 T) of 4% cottage cheese.

I hope Lucky feels a little better tonight....and your aching heart also. :YMHUG:

Woo Hoo! I'm glad to see blue. With all the stress from Lucky's cancer, I'm surprised to see that blue. Thanks everyone for you well wishes for Lucky. I don't think he's going to get better. I really don't think he'll be with me much longer.

Carla, I'm glad to see Furball is in blues in spite of all that's going on at your place. I'm thinking of your Lucky and sending healing vines and peaceful, calming thoughts your way. Hoping for lots of quality time for you.
