Hello again,
I have had Woody on 4U twice daily since Sunday night -- His numbers seem to be in higher numbers again. Don't know if he's still bouncing or? I can post the day's number and maybe have someone recommend his PM dose? thanks

Since Woody got to the low 100's on this dose, I'd stay with 4 units at least another day. Let's see if he clears this bounce and comes back down again.

You did ask yesterday about whether cats bounce forever. The answer is ECID - every cat is different. I was thrilled when my girl stopped bouncing to reds after a year and bounced to pink instead. As for what causes a bounce, the description is in the New to the Group Sticky Note. I recommend reading all those Sticky Notes at the top of the forum. Heck, I still refer to some of them again and again.

The link to your most recent post here. We include links for continuity and making it easy for people to go back and read what happened before. In your previous post, you were using BG numbers in mmol/L. Since this server is hosted in the US, and most people who help with dosing are in the US, our convention on this forum is to report in US numbers. And you are more likely to get people to stop in if you "talk" in the numbers they are used to.

Another thing to get eyes on your thread if you have a question, is to use the ?"? prefix on the subject. There are several of us looking for people with questions and it's much easier if someone uses the "?" prefix rather than going into every post. Once you have your answer, take down the "?".

Hello Wendy, Okay, as I thought -- I will keep him on 4U's tonight and tomorrow as see where his sugars land okay then. A year of bouncing holy mother of all cats with diabetes my God. I have read as much as I can ( over/over and then over again) on the bounce, yes. What I was not aware of is how long these can last -- that's where I was getting stuck. I finally get the bounce phenomena since you ladies explain terms in such vivid detail -- it's just such a learn curve this disease. You think you've got it, but I don't think one really ever does --
On topic of using U.S. BG numbers, that's something I did not know -- I can just go into the SS and tab mg/dl from here on in when I post - and so noted on adding ? to my subject line -- then once answered I will remove -- thanks for all the educate here Wendy,
