Hello!
Our first week on insulin ended and we had rough start, maybe someone can look at our spreadsheet and help interpret what BG tests shows us and how to better proceed for the next cycles since we started with high doses.
Vet gave her her first insulin Lantus injection of 4 units, BG was 26.5 at that moment and instructed to continue with 3U 2x a day. Luckily, I found your Facebook group and received valuable support/comments that our starting dose is too high. I dropped it to 1U and now I'm little bit confused how should I proceed given BG test results. Should I stay at 1U and for how long or should I increase?

We ask all new members to first post an intro on the main/health forum. After that we can help. You will need a curve to see how the current dose is working as the prior too high starting dose will still be effecting her bg for at least 4-6 cycles.
