Since J.D.'s shot was late this morning (because I didn't get home from work until +12.25 last night, and didn't feel like giving a early shot this morning), both kitties were hungry and anxiously awaiting their breffis.

Tomorrow morning, they both go to the vet for their check ups, and rabies shots.
Question: I was thinking of getting the 1 year live? rabies vaccine as opposed to the 3 year killed vaccine.
Any thoughts on this? What do you guys give?
They both had nickel sized nodules on the backs of their necks about 1 month after getting vaccines in their scruffs, once, and that was pretty scary.

Morning, guys! Thank you for asking that question!! I'm taking in Willie for his shot next week, and it is something I need to consider before then as well!!

Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Thank you so much for that link, Jill. I was planning to do a search for it today from work, but forgot about it.
Without re-reading the article (which I will do, tonight when I get home), I'm pretty sure I will decide to get the one year vaccine.

A couple of days ago, I used a syringe that the first mark looked like it was more than one half unit down from the top of the syringe.

Tonight, I opened a new packet of ten syringes, and the one I pulled out had the first mark right at the top of the syringe.
   ...smiley with hair pulling...

The Kitties had one of their favorites for dinner (and they both ate! :-D ) Fancy Feast Trout Feast.

We finally hired someone, and I get to start training him on Monday. My boss said that that I should not have to put in as much overtime, once he is going. So, since they switched me back to hourly last year, that means less $$, but I get to use my title of "Manager" again.
Hey, the bright side, is more time with my cats, with my DBF, going swimming in our condo pool, cleaning the house
