EEk! Is this a bounce? I had an event to attend to for my job and couldn't be home in the evening to check him. He had food though and was snoring peacefully when I finally got in so I didn't check his BG (I'm regretting that). Now I don't know what's going on with him.
He does seem to like waking up to those pinks though, but this is the highest yet. Someone, I think Helene, suggested perhaps he's in need of more insulin, any thoughts?

Re: 06/01 Tray's AMPS 398 DOSE

Good morning.
Tray may need more insulin but without those mid-cycle checks I would be reluctant to suggest an increase. You don't know if he is bouncing from lower numbers. See what some others think.

Re: 06/01 Tray's AMPS 398 DOSE

Looks like you got some green on the 2.75 dose but then got a 40 so you decreased. What about just fattening the 2.5 dose and see where that goes. Measure just over the 2.5 line. See if others agree too.

Re: 06/01 Tray's AMPS 398 DOSE

I will see if anyone else chimes in but a fat 2.5 might do the trick. Thanks

Well at least Tray managed to get himself out of the pinks today. PMPS 295, gave him a fat 2.5U. Let's see if we get an improvement.

Lesson learned -- a before bed check every night. Given the amount that a cat sleeps, waking Mr. Sleepy up isn't a big deal. In any event, if you wake him up, his ears will be warm and it will be an easy poke.

Good luck with the increase.
