I would not advise going without insulin yet. There's still too much blue and blues that are outside of the normal BG range. I would go with a skinny 0.25u for tonight. Gentle is a longer term diabetic. You want to provide as much support to his pancreas as possible until he categorically tells you he doesn't need the insulin any more. This is a time when you are going to need to be patient and to keep a careful eye on his numbers. He may surprise you!
