Dolly started on .12mL Adequan subqu injections on May 12th. She’s had two more injections, May 15 and May 19. I started seeing her BG number start to rise on May 15. I have been all over the internet trying to find out if this is a possible side affect. If there is anyone that has any knowledge of this, I would be extremely grateful. Other then when I was in the hospital and newbi to testing husband took over, Dolly has not had numbers like this in a long time. I don’t know what to do going forward. I am very concerned.

I have put a call into her vet.

Vet called, highly unlikely it would be the Adequan. Taking her in tomorrow for a full blood panel and urinalysis (hopefully, she always pees in her carrier when we get there). Just had this done in March :rolleyes: More likely it’s related to her Hyperthyroidism even though she has no symptoms, not the obvious, anyway. I can’t believe her last number at +7.5, lately she’s on her way back by this time. I don’t know what’s going on. There is some great news :joyful: Dolly is walking so much better since starting the Adequan. :):cat:.

Hi Bhooma, did you receive an earlier message from me? Hope you are having a lovely day. Do you think it’s safe to make it a really early night? No +3? One day I will be secure with my own decisions just not today.

Thanks Bhooma. I took a +3. Taking her to the vet tomorrow for blood panel etc Vet thinks these crazy numbers could be from her Hyperthyroidism. She has no symptoms, they said that didn’t matter.
