Good morning, almost afternoon!! I'm so behind in everything today!!
Leo seems to be feeling just great and spending his time lounging on the beach or meandering down to the lagoon for some surfing.
It’s catnap time for the kitty and he’s probably dreaming of the squirrel he almost caught yesterday (not!!), the squirrels have lots more street smarts than he does!! Poor Leo, he'll never be a good predator!!
Before he adopted us, he spent the first 8.5 years of his life as a purely indoor kitty and slowly over the years, we’ve been introducing him (with close supervision) to the “big outdoors”.
OT:
Our house was built with large flat rocks with a lot of great ledges for Virginia creeper vines and obviously, perfect for birds nests! We now have 5 robin nests built on the house in the vines!! The problem is, all of the nests except for one, are close to the doorways, so I’ve used random stuff as warning pylons inside the house in front of all the doorways, to remind us to open the doors very gently and not scare the poor birdies half to death.
Heading out to play in the dirt that we had delivered this week.
