Day 5 and still high. I can't believe we may actually soon have to up it to 4.25. Talk about some insulin resistance. She's eating a lot of dry though, and is a big girl. I spoke with the internal med vet and am going to try reducing her food by 20% and seeing how that works for about a month. She wants her to lose weight but of course very slowly and gradually.
On the bright side, her coat looks very shiny, soft, and fluffy; poops are regular and solid; attitude seems good and happy. Drinking and peeing a bit more but also because she's eating the dry and it does make her thirstier. So overall she's doing very good; just gotta break her out of this high rut. These numbers are just so disappointing.
