well I don't know if the antibiotics he had has helped but hes seems to have come down the last day or so and he seems better in himself. not at all as lethargic and interested in watching the birds ect on his window ledge! I definitely have a much happier boy on my hands the last couple of days! hopefully tomorrow the other results will come through with whats going on with his little body!
 
Bailey's looking a lot better today and yesterday. :-D Great to hear that he's interested in the birds and more active. We all feel so much better when our kitties are feeling good. cat_pet_icon
 
the difference in him is fantastic.he sat up to eat every time hes eaten today.(normal cat behaviour) that hasn't happened if im honest for weeks.hes laid down to eat! which shows to me that that this antibiotic has and is having some effect!i can tell by his bg numbers too. it makes my heart burst!!! we're finally getting somewhere!!!
my little fighter is fighting :-)
 
That's wonderful news, Anna. I'm so happy to hear that Bailey has improved dramatically - I know you've been terribly worried. Great job following your gut on Bailey. Sometimes we just "know" when things aren't right with our kitties.

I cant even begin to describe how ive been feeling! I haven't wanted to leave him.ive not been anywhere barr work.ive just wanted to get home to him,hoping I can help ease whatever it is.
I knew something is/was wrong. I cant wait to see what these results bring! im convinced now though its an infection/imflammation of some kind rather than a nasty. the antibiotics woudnt have had such effects if it was a nasty.(well I hope so anyway)
I can tell hes so much more comfortable in every way.il/we'll sleep abit easier tonight <3

It does list muscle weakness and lethargy as two of the symptoms - which matches with what you've been describing. Look at how much better his blood sugar is on his ss for the past 2 days.

Great to hear a happy Bailey update! Good for you for pursuing things, Anna!
 
thanks Julie. yeah id googled as soon as the vet rang me. the results are in but ive got to wait for the vet to ring me back with them as the nurse wasn't allowed to give them out.he usually rings late in the evening so I may have a long wait. nailbite_smile

what a difference in his bg the last couple of days.even the couple of pinks are low.im feeling much more hopeful :-D
