05/14 Nam-kha OTJ day 8 AMBG 68

Hello!

Nam-kha's BG is at 68 this morning. It's funny, I often have the same readings, 68 and 86. She stays in between those numbers.

She's still not eating a lot. It's not something uncommon with her. When she had dry food, she was eating less than the amount recommended for her weight. But now, I do worry... I'm glad we booked this blood test next week and I really hope everything is okay.

The good thing is that she looks well, she plays, goes outside and she is very vocal. But I don't understand why she's not eating more. She barely eats one can (5oz) a day.

I hope it turns out she just doesn't need the food because her body is processing it better. Sending prayers.

Did anyone ever post the OTJ trial instructions for you?

Nam-kha's looking good. Depending on the calories in the 5.5 oz can, and Nam-kha's weight and energy level, one can may be plenty. My Neko maintained her weight on around 200 calories a day, and she was 14 lbs. Use your scale to determine if she's getting enough food.
