Good morning!

Boomer ate all of his overnight fuds.
Allen ate well last night too.

I'm heading out to a local pond right after t/f/s. I'm still hoping to find a loon on the pond.

Attached is one of the photos I took at Point Pelee on Wednesday. It is a Black-Throated Blue Warbler, a new bird to me!

No loons today. I'm afraid they've already left this area. Next spring I'll have to remember to check out these ponds in April.
Did have a couple of cooperative swallows, a yellow finch and a downy woodpecker though.
And since I'm already dressed, I'll head to my other favourite birding spot right after breakfast. I did see a couple of wood ducks in the river the last time I was there; would be nice if they were a little closer to my side of the river.

That's a new bird for me, too. You have a great variety of birds in your area. But we have lots of loons!

Have a good weekend, Judy. The boys look good.
We do see a variety of warblers in the spring but nothing like Point Pelee. Point Pelee is the southern most tip of Canada and juts out into Lake Erie so any birds migrating north that cross Lake Erie will stop there to rest/refuel on their trip north. It's a great place to see birds you normally don't get to see.
