Yesterday

Squallie is happy and full of purrs this morning, very alert and doesn't seem to be in any discomfort. Still no poop (that I have seen, he could have gone and I missed it) so right now he is locked in the bathroom with a litter box, and is displeased with me, lol. He didn't eat very well this morning, but again, I did not give him his appy pill, so I don't know if it's that, or possible constipation that's keeping him from eating well. If he hasn't produced any poop by lunchtime, it's off to the vet we go.

Okay, I think maybe I am making Squallie, and myself, unnecessarily crazy. I gave him his appy med and he ate like a champ. So far no vomiting. I still have not seen him poop, but that doesn't mean he hasn't; I almost never do see him poop, and I couldn't even say how frequently (or not) he goes. He doesn't act like he's in any discomfort, he's playful and purry, so I think maybe I'm just being obsessively over-concerned. I do tend to let worry hijack my brain, lol. Any other opinions are very welcome, and don't worry about hurting my feelings if you think I'm being crazy, lol!

I'm glad Squallie is eating for you. Maybe you could call the vet and see if they think you need to bring him in. Sending prayers.

Oh, Lucy, you are no crazier than the rest of us here He is happy and hungry , that’s what’s important . Praying that when he does use LB that you will know Happy Friday to you and your fur babies

I like Carla’s idea. I do also think if he is constipated he would be showing signs of discomfort. It’s always crystal clear when Ming is backed up, he doesn’t want to eat, vomits, lays in litter box, sometimes even hides under the bed. Never is he purry and happy.

But if you’re in doubt give your vet a call see what they say.

Thank you all for your support, and your ideas. I did call the vet, he didn't think it sounded like Squall was constipated, either. I shut him in the bedroom last night while I was gone, and he produced evidence for me, lol. So all seems well!
