Hello, here is yesterday:

Don't have all data for SS yet, but the good news is that Eddie is coming home tonight!!! I'm picking him up at clinic just after his snack and shot and bringing him home.

In addition to relief, I feel nervous.

I am, however, equipped with liquid Mirtaz and Ondansetron. I hope I don't need either of these.

Thank you, again, for being there. :cat:

We are home!!!! Eddie was a bit perplexed at first but then found his nice, soft bed and he's currently settling in with his favourite pillow and a couple Churu snacks. I arranged that they would feed him and give insulin in the clinic before I took him home so getting home would just mean his good pillow and Churu snacks. I've got the YouTube cat music on for him and I think he's going to have a good sleep. I'll be watching his BG and insulin and I now have in Ondansetron, liquid Mirtazapine and Buprenorphine in my home pharmacy. Now that I know he's prone to pancreatitis, I'm more prepared.

I'm really grateful for the wonderful care he received at this clinic. They even let me take home the little food dish that Eddie really liked. I looked at his medical record and over however many days he was there, he saw six different vets, all of whom were really supportive and communicative. The nurses were fantastic and each time I called the clinic to check up on Eddie the front desk put me through to the vet or a helpful tech.

Again, I'm thankful, too, for the support of this FDMB community. I was so worried and you all just lifted me up. Thank you.

Now onto bed for us all here. Goodnight.
