WCR: Weight = 11.13 lbs. I'm glad that I was able to get a AMPS +7 test yesterday. Sometimes, its best to know how she's doing later on after the AMPS +3 test so that I have an idea on how she's working the insulin. It also helps for me to collect as much data as possible... Just 'cuz. Good thing the strips are relatively inexpensive!
I've also started getting the AMPS +2 tests... Again for the "just 'cuz" part, and to see how quickly she'll be dropping in the early part of the dose. It gives me an idea of what to look for when I get a +3, and if I need to stick around and retest 1/2 hour after the +3 test to make sure she's ok. Today, DH took the day off so that we can get some errands done, which can't be done during the weekends as the businesses are closed.
WBR: Almost done with 1 section of my Excel 2007 course. Believe it or not, I really hate math, and hated the thought of using Excel for anything. Yes, I've dug my heals and have refused to use it in the past, however I'm relenting. I'm beginning to like the program now that I'm learning how to use it. I have 2 more lessons in this section, and then I do a quiz, and then a test. This entire course is written as clearly as possible, and it's also written for those, like myself, to understand it without trying to understand all sorts of nonsense jargon that is beyond my brain's capability (hope that makes sense). Yep, even this ol' gal can go back to school and learn something new. Since the courses are free, I may take the Word course, and then do the Power, and perhaps the Access course, too. We'll have to see. I definitely want to brush up on Word a bit more, and then do the Powerpoint. I may be able to make a slideshow of all my DH's bird pics as a present.
Oh, the possibilities are endless!!!

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
