J.D. enjoyed his scallops last night so much that two of my fingers are bandaged. I ended up sauteing them in butter, and he ate little pieces of it for a total of about 1/4 scallop. He didn't eat much else last night, just a bit of FF. And eventually ate a bit more FF when I added some EVO kibble to the top.
This morning, I heard him throw up and thought it was bile, so gave him 1/4 Pepcid at +11.5, then discovered that he had eaten the left out rehydrated freeze dried raw beef and salmon that I had left out last night. I'm sure that's not good for him, so I'm kind of glad he threw it up. I'm going to return that product, it's just weird, it comes in block sized pieces the size of horse hay cubes. I took out one yesterday and offered it to J.D. and he took bites off the big thing and ate about 1/3 of one block. But I just don't like them, they smell kind of like berries and I know they are added, so I'll exchange them for the Orijen 100% meat dog treats that he likes instead.

J.D. ate his 1st Breffis. I can't believe it's time already to get ready for work. I have just a bit of time to get the cats out for a walk this morning, then we're off.

I hope everyone has a good day.

I'm glad J.D. enjoyed the scallops last night. I hope his tummy settles down today and he eats good for you.

Good morning, Dyana!

It's interesting that you mentioned the freeze-dried food. Jersey vomited every time we fed her freeze-dried Primal. She also vomited whenever we fed her too many of the freeze-dried Orijen treats (which she loves). I never could figure out what was up with that, although the people at Primal mentioned that the protein may be so "rich" it caused an upset stomach. We ended up sending the Primal back and have learned to give the Orijen treats in moderation. Otherwise, we have a nice little vomit pile to clean up! ohmygod_smile

Sending more tummy vines to J.D.

J.D. came down pretty fast this morning without the use of R. It's hard to type with bandages on my fingers.
He ate okay at home before leave for work at +1.5. Ate okay (for him) here, so far. He's surfing the blues :)

I bought those Primal Freeze Dried Raw blocks last Monday, for all I know I gave them to him for the first time last Wednesday and that's why he was so off on Thursday and had to go to the vet.

Back to work :(

Nice blue cycle today for JD at work. :-D Ouch on the fingers! Did JD bite them? :o Scallops fried in butter would go over well here too.

Have you tried the Orijen Tundra Cat treats instead of the dog ones? The dog ones have some carbs from fruits and vegetables while the cat ones are just meat. Both of my kitties love the Tundra treats.

Sending extra appy vines for JD today.

Hi Dyana,
I'm glad J.D. ate better this morning than last night.
Sending more appy vines just in case.
I love the nice blue surf. :-D

J.D. scarfed a bunch of food as is his way, when we got home from work, but he ate pretty good at work too (I brought cypro with me and gave him some and am glad I did the way he was diving).

Yes about the bite wounds. I posted this last night, but the board crashed. The first offering, he ate one piece and the second piece he punctured my index finger (right in the meatiest part). So, on the second offering, I was favoring my index finger and he got my middle finger, not as bad as the first bite (maybe I learned).
Tonight I broke up a bit of the scallops and put them in a bowl. No blood this time :)

Off to bed. It was a long day of tbp for us.
