Have you got another pen, Brian?

If you do, try the new one and see if the numbers change....if they do, then you'll know the other one is bad....if they don't, you can go back and finish up what's left in the older one
 
I am just going off all his most recent numbers up until this dose; he was doing so well, and this dose seems like it isn't quite enough.

@Bobbie And Bubba , it is still clear; but this one has had trouble with air getting in it... which is insanely baffling. I still don't understand how air seems to get into the syringe when I squeeze all the air from the plunger while inserting the needle into the pen. But it seems to be getting into the pen also, which I don't think has ever happened. I thought air would shorten the life of the insulin... I don't know. Maybe it is just him being a cat!

@Chris & China I do not have another pen. I am on the last one; which is why I was inquiring about buying just a single pen. I know I can't afford a whole box of pens, and I also don't think he'll need that much! I'm hoping!

I got a bit of a tiny bubble into one of my pens once and was told it is not a big deal. And, in a few days or so I noticed it was gone. I wouldn't worry about it. But it if worries you like Chris said start a new one. Walmart sells Lantus Solo pen singles for about 86 dollars.
 
Yeah I had no luck finding any pharmacy within 150 miles of me that would sell me a single pen...that's what got me doing the frantic searching which led me to Marks!

Sorry your Walmart won't break up a set for you. Chris probably sent you the link to Marine's Pharm in Canada. Also, Alan Hammer in the supply closet sells singles and sets. Don't know if he has any right now but, worth a look. I have purchased from him before; he is in TX.
