He did fine Monday through Tuesday, but same thing. Threw up the 10:30 pm meal 2-3+ hours after. Then didn't want to eat the 430am meal but ate at 10:00 am. Taking him to vet at 330pm.

I think pancreatitis is a distinct possibility. I’d test but not the snap. I’d ask for cerenia and an RX for ondansetron unless your vet has it. Good luck at the vet. Often times people say no symptoms but their cat just doesn’t seem right. Max did not always show symptoms and at first never occurred to me he could have it. He just doesn’t don’t have his usual appetite but was eating.

Yea, I mean we have fluids and cerenia already. His SpecFPL is always high, but he generally hasnt really had symptoms of it before. So it might be a mild flare of that. He ate completely normally yesterday and Monday after 10am too. Plus did well at 10am today. But we gave him the cerenia and fluids last night. Did fluids the first instance if it Monday Am.

Aside from specFPL which im assuming will still be elevated is don't think there is many other ways to confirm pancreatitis except ruling other things out and just treating him supportively as we are. I mainly want him to get a physical exam from her, blood work and possibly an xray to make sure no blockages or anything. The vomit last night did have a decent sized hairball in it.

If that’s the case not sure I would bother with a SpecfPL. Just treat symptoms. I did find once started I always to keep meds going until he acted like normal.

Yea he was acting totally fine Monday at 10am till last night. Ate everything normal, no issues. Then it basically happened exactly same way, tho threw up 45 minutes later and was less food so digested some of it. Again didnt want to eat the normal AM but did eat at 10 (5 hours later). So far he just sleeping comfy next to me in his chair. Will see what vet says when we go in 2 hours.

Vet said exam was good, she didn't feel anything in his stomach or other areas and he didn't show any pain or discomfort. Got blood will get values tomorrow, did ask her to check the kidney values in house which were normal, will also get them on labs tomorrow. Did another specFPL too. Thinking either minor panc flare or even possibly hair ball related since there was one in the vomit last night.
Doing supportive care for now with cerenia/fluids for a few days and seeing how he does.
