I've been wondering why Furball's numbers the last couple of days seem to be higher than this past weekend when I did her curve. It could be a small bounce from the low blues.

I take Furball into the kitchen for her test and she found the remains of my other cat's food. I didn't think it would be a problem if she ate it. I didn't think about it having a higher carb content (24 according to Binky's list). ohmygod_smile I wonder if her doing that for a couple of days would cause higher numbers. I am now making sure that plate is not around where she can reach it when she is in the kitchen.

well at least you know she's sensitive to carbs, carla! yes, that's probably it. once a cat is diabetic, the rest of their life, even if they go off of insulin, they need to stay on low carb canned food.

good to know the reason for her high numbers.
