04/24 Pookie AMPS 167 +3 56 +4 54 +5 49

spoonful of higher carb along with his lowcarb since he hasn't eaten since this mornings shot
What's Pookie's usual feeding schedule? Generally, you want to feed the first half the cycle (especially the 50s) and stop feeding after nadir (feeding after nadir may impact insulin duration). There's good info here - https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/8-10-tashie-pmps-high-questions.101989/#post-1087990

FWIW, I always fed the 50s, especially so early in the cycle. I personally fed MC for the 50s.

Good luck on the new dose!

Usually we feed him during his morning dose and then I'll feed him again around noon or a bit before , and then sometimes a small
Meal in the afternoon but no later than 6, two
Hours before his PMPS and at
Night I'll usually feed a bit before
Bed and then again later in the night

Since he came up he has stayed stable for the rest of the afternoon will shoot 1.75 and see how he does !! Should hopefully be in the greens tonight SND will try and get him surfing through the night !

If you haven't yet, I would read through that link I posted as maybe you can consider feeding earlier. I think noon in your cycle is +4? If you can, feed before then - onset of lantus is between +2 and +3 for most cats and a little snack can help them surf. I personally fed Jax at PS/+2/+4/+6 (I took his food for his cycle and fed half at PS and split the rest up between +2/+4/+6) - ECID so you'll have to experiment.

Feeding only in the first half of the cycle keeps them surfing as the dose becomes weaker. Of course if dropping you heed yo feed. If I saw 50’s early I fed lc hourly and if any drop occurred at all then mc. With those figuring it out I suggest mc. Max was very carb sensitive though.
