We took Shadow (outdoor kitty) to the vet's for a rabies shot yesterday after DH came home. She was also given some antibiotics for a laceration that she sustained during the fight with the tom. So, she got her rabies, and her medicine (14 pills to be given 2x a day). She asked about Blackie, and I told her. She asked if she was still on Lantis, and I told her that she was. I told her about her #s, and I asked if a vet check was in order for her. She told me that she wouldn't change anything, including giving her anything like a rabies shot because she's doing very well. I told her that I'm trying to get her weight down a bit, and as it was, she was about 2 lbs. overweight a year ago according to her charts. She was pleased about her progress, and the fact that she's now regulated.
On a sidenote... I'm STILL stitching that commission job, however, it's 99.9% complete!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!! Just need to finish beading the name (there's 26 beads per letter, and 6 letters, not including the beads throughout the whole project itself... I tell ya.. there are a LOT of beads on this). Then, I can continue with the other projects that I have currently pending. All I can say is.. It's absolutely gorgeous!
MY WISH: For God to help everyone in Japan to find peace with the loss of their loved ones, and hopefully get things back in order soon... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who recently lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to continue to help Sienne's sister overcome her ailment, and make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone on here to experience great #s... For everyone to be OTJ someday soon... And CONGRATULATIONS to those who did go OTJ recently!!! Awesome!!!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: HAPPY CATURDAY, EVERYONE!!!
