Never got another IGF since his insulin resistance hasn't changed, even after doubling the dosage of Cabergoline, and also got some discouraging news on the trial (only 1 of 6 cats have responded well and that cat was not a high-doser). Plan B was the big decision to do radiation treatments & met the doctor today. Did a CT scan and Bronx did well with the anesthesia, even with his heart murmur, so that is a good thing since he will have to go under 5 days in a row during the treatments scheduled for the first week in May. Sleeping on my lap as a I write this after a pretty traumatic day for him, he is a trooper!

Gizmo's appy is off again. Been three cycles where I really have to coax him to eat. He is also looking like he isn't feeling good tonight but can't tell really what is bothering him. Well, I got some Pepcid this weekend and had ordered pill pockets and decided to give him a dose. First time for both! I took a small pinch off the PP to see if he was "interested" - lol. So the 2nd piece I put the 1/4 tab in it and put it in his bowl so I could see if he spit out the pill. Nope! Went right down. He has spent the last 10 min licking his bowl looking for any morsel he may have missed.
Hopefully this will make a difference. Sure would like to know if it is stomach acid, nausea or inappetence.

Don't have enough exsperience to answer that, but know it didn't help her numbers. Just went to capsules with a little vaseline. Do they not stink ?
my hubby about puked when I opened the package. Lol
The duck and pea PP never spiked Neko. They are the lowest carb PP.

Really concerned. This jump in BG doesn't make sense. He is really lethargic. Going to bed. Hope he is ok. If not, off to the vet in the a.m.
