AMPS 109

Did NOT eat his +8.5LC snack. I am really not sure how to get him to eat. I am already not getting enough sleep. I can't get up and babysit him in the middle of the night. And for the AM cycle - usually I am not here, I am at work.

That said, not a bad starting number this morning! :cool:

He has been so loving and purring and content the past few days. I guess I have noticed it more because I am home. Eating good (except for the last snack) and with enthusiasm.

Busy day today. They are priming (painting) the house (we are still fighting HOA on the final color). Got to go pick out a back door and get storm doors for both front and back.

Karen was suggesting moving the +6.5 to later (+8.5) to see if it would bring down the PS #. Problem is - he wasn't eating the +6.5. I was/am willing to try it and thought maybe he would eat it because he was hungry(er) at +8.5. I will just leave it as is, if he doesn't eat it, he doesn’t eat it!

Bunny is part of the back yard bunny family. :smuggrin:

Hey Lizzie, I am thinking like Carla, that maybe he just doesn't need that +8 snack ; he is lower today AM than yesterday.

Was that a 45 he got on 4.12 at +4? It looks like you didn't reduce him to .75.

04/12 - It was @ +4.5-45, +5-47, +5.5-50, +6-48

Since I am off work until Monday we (I) decided to let him get another "below" 50 and then reduce because of the higher PS #'s. Looks like that might happen today or tonight. I also had a partial fur shot 04/12 PM cycle - so that is why yesterday's numbers were a bit higher than more recent cycles (so actually happy I didn't reduce)!

- I got an e-mail that the Pancreas Booster has shipped!

+2=63 :D

Yeah, I am thinking he will be getting a reducie soon. Thanks for explaining that; I knew there must be a reason. A lot happened while I was off the boards for a few days while my family was here visiting. This place moves faster than a night soap opera! LOL :p

Okay, I need a email saying my PB was shipped as it was ordered over a month ago. :banghead: ugh. Did you order it from Pet Alive. Think I will be calling them.

I wouldn't say it is a deciding factor in his eating - I really can't tell if it makes a difference to him. I think that he is just asleep/too lazy to get up and eat that last meal (hence, not really hungry). Especially with the time change. I thought maybe moving it out 2 hours may encourage the eating. It may happen once he snaps that there is food in that turn. I will just wait and see. :)
 
Looking good Gizmo, looks like he's got his toes in the lagoon trying to decide whether he should go for a swim or not.

If he isn't eating the +6 snack, moving it a little later couldn't hurt as a test.

I did. I moved it from +6.5 to +8.5. Been that way for two cycles now (this is the 3rd cycle). Still not eating it but he hasn't been eating that snack for a while. I have slowly made it a smaller snack and increased the others to make sure he is getting his calories.
 
Honestly, when Doodles was on Lantus he ate at preshot and +4/+5 only. From mid December 2015 to end of January 2016 he was pretty much green, earning reductions for staying in normal numbers for 7 days. When Gizmo is ready, his preshots will come down. He's looking really good and do agree the reducie is coming soon. Surf safely buddy.
