04/08 Advice pre-vet for kidney panel

I may be overthinking this, but tomorrow my diabetic cat Daphne will see the vet for a routine kidney panel. A few days ago when I did a ketone test, the CheckUp strip showed only that her urine's Specific Gravity was high. Are there any questions that you suggest I ask when I am with the vet? It could be that Daphne was just dehydrated when you tested.

The specific gravity pad on urine test strips are unreliable for at least cats.
"The test pads for urine specific gravity, urobilinogen, nitrite, and leukocytes are not used for veterinary patients."
