Today, a bit of an upset tummy or possible pancreatitis flare. I'm thinking the latter. I am giving her gabapentin and some cerenia for pain and nausea. But she is still eating her snacks and enjoying my lap, so life isn't too terrible for Butters. I'm preparing myself for the possibility that her numbers might go up.

I'm sorry Butters might be having a possible flare. Happy she's still eating and
enjoying lap time. Her numbers are looking great, Praying her numbers don't go up and she's not in any pain. Give her kisses for me. ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Oh dear. I had everything well under control but now she isn't keeping her pills down and has just vomited twice and dry heaved twice. Her vet is closed. :banghead: I gave her some bupe. Not sure if I should take her to emergency or keep trying to get the pills into her. Sigh. I'll give her some time to rest and then decide.

Emerg will want to run blood work and the whole nine yards...a very expensive place to go just for a cerenia injection, but I may have no choice.
 
Oh goodness, hugs mama bean and Butters :bighug::bighug::bighug: Sending lots of healing vines. Kitties seem to be like humans and save the dramatics for after hours which makes it much harder :(
 
Oh no! Hoping Butters starts feeling better and you don’t have to go to the emerg vet! Here they basically charge you $200 to walk in the door :banghead::nailbiting: Sending healing thoughts your way!

I ended up taking her to the ER because She wouldn't keep any food down and vet was closed.
They just finished examining her. Suggested keeping her overnight and doing a US to confirm pancreatitis. I declined and just asked for a cerenia injection, which they are doing now. She is fully hydrated so no fluids needed. I just have to get her to eat and keep the food down tonight. Then regroup tomorrow.
