WCR: Weight = 11.09 lbs. I was quite pleased, and a bit surprised by the #s from the PMPS test to +3. I'll take it! :mrgreen: One can only hope that she has a continuation of those beautiful #s. The thing that I've learned is that I can't read too much into the #s, at least not now. However, and I know this is kind of a contradiction... Maybe... I'm liking the pattern that she's showing. I'm beginning to think that my hard work is paying off. I'm still hopeful for her being OTJ, but that'll be up to her. I can't force it on her.. All I can do is make sure she's as healthy as possible.

One thing that I have noticed with her, especially lately, is that when it gets closer to feeding time she's not bugging me as much, or coming into the office, and meowing for almost 1/2 hour. Right now, it's 7:43 a.m. as I type this sentence, and there's no sign of my little Miss Mouth. :lol: I'm beginning to wonder if things are finally starting to settle down with her. Her weight is good, and I haven't done any food adjustments... She's showed me a few days ago that she didn't want nearly as much insulin... Could it be...? Or am I reaching for something that's not there? :lol: We've been at this for 3 years now, and I am still very cautiously optimistic about OTJ, hopefully in the very near future. We'll just have to see.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.​

Great report for Blackie. The "little Miss Mouth" made me chuckle. I have one of those too, Miss Smokey is very vocal and not just when she wants food :lol:

It's 8 minutes before the hour, and she finally showed up for her num nums. :lol: Going to give her a quick test to see how she's doing. Haven't done an AMPS +2 in a while. Thank goodness the Relion Prime strips are cheap! :lol:

Hi, Angela. I glad Blackie is doing so well :-D .
It's hard for us beans to not read into the numbers too much. It's one of my battles with this dance ~ when to rely on them and when to take them with a grain of salt.
You're doing a great job keeping her healthy and happy!

Well... Ok then! :lol: It's a darned good thing that I don't need to be anywhere early this morning, I tell ya. :lol: She could go 2 ways... Either she could give me a # below 50, which would mean that she'd have to give me 1 more # below 50 for a decrease, OR... She could give me a # below 40, which would give her an automatic decrease this evening. We'll just have to see. :lol: Any takers? :lol: :-D

Have to do the grocery shopping today, but naturally won't be leaving until I know she's safe.

Between the work the two of you are doing, Blackie sure looks like she's "getting it"!!!! I'm sure that everytime we think there's a pattern developing, they can prove to us they will do just the opposite.....still... it looks pretty darn good!!!! I've got paws and fingers crossed..
