04/05 Chronos PMPS 95

Following on from yesterday:
He gets his food in five meals throughout the day/night: Feeding Schedule: AMPS Start, AM +5, AM +8.5, PMPS Start, PM between +5.25
What %carbs is the AM+8.5 snack? Carbs given after nadir can slow insulin action further. After nadir it is already slowing down, and carbs will slow it down faster. So reduce duration and possibly give you higher PMPS. Of course, it didn't yesterday. :cat: If you fed at +8.5 today, a +9 or +10 might be interesting to see the effect of that food.

All of his meals are the same amount of food and half the Royal Canin Renal D (higher carb) and half Weruva (low carb). He has been eating same thing this whole time.

So the difference is just that he gets a later AM snack than in the PM.

AMPS numbers are typically the last ones to come down. Could be dawn phenomenon. He is still seeing a lot of lovely green.

Yea, his PMPS was 95. Guess we just wait and see. Wasn't sure if we should try 1 unit again but has gone fairly low in AM cycle on 0.75 too.
