Evening everyone. Thankfully Bambi's BG was around the 200s range yesterday night, so I didn't have many problems. I kept her dose the same at 1.25u but had a 1.5-hour delay. Today she seems to be getting back on track with lower numbers, in fact, her recorded nadir again fell just below 90 at 82. Wanted to confirm that I will drop the dose by 0.25u to 1u. Is this correct? Her shot schedule is around 2 hours later...

Also, I got some low-carb wet food, do you think I should start mixing %25 to her usual diabetes dry food, or shall I wait a bit more for the numbers to stabilize?

Thanks.

You are correct they since the BG fell under 90 a .25 reduction has been earned.
Since there will effectively be a .75 reduction in such a short time I think gradually replacing sone of the dry with lc should be fine as long as you can monitor.

Congrats on the reducie :). She’ll probably bounce again from hitting greens, and you test often enough that you can watch for any apparent influence with the lower carb canned food being introduced and less of the dry. Maybe tonight you can catch a little more sleep? ;)
