A 0.50 shoot, I thing a slight up will be OK.

April was a bit fussy about the trip to the vet; but she is rather forgiving bless her heart. I'm glad, we got little sleep last night due to Easton and Buddy rampaging about the house last night. It was cute and funny but at the same time dad's going "Hey, it's 4am!" Buddy sometimes turns into a raging 5 year old, other times a fussy 6 month old! We took a cat nap today when we got back with April.

The regular results will be back later today, the Thyroid testing takes longer and may not get back till Monday. Which we will maybe be sitting around waiting for eh, jury selection.

very nice number to start the day at! I hope it's all blues and greens from here on out ...

Hi hi all!

A 0.25u shoot tonight. 101!

Well no results back for Aprils BW, so I guess its bite nails till Monday. nailbite_smile

Speaking of Monday we have to go in for jury selection; eh, they are going to ether throw me out or keep me to help the prosecution.

No, honestly I can't afford it, and Buddy will miss a AMPS dose too. But we have to go none the less. -sigh- Sorry Bud, I hope this does not blow the blues and greens to bad.

Beautiful number for Buddy tonight! Glad all went well for Miss April at the vet today... hopefully you'll get the results soon (maybe they'll call tomorrow? my old vet did that once.... with Wilie's diagnosis, now that I think about it!).

Talk to the jury duty folks on Monday... you may be able to reschedule for another date, usually a few months out. If not, then just be VERY black/white when it comes to any moral issues questions on the panel. For the most part, they want to avoid people with set opinions because the lawyers can't mold their opinions to get the verdict they want. Of course, I say that, and some Miami-Dade County put me on a jury several years ago right after my first year of law school... in a drug trial, even after I sidebarred the judge, explained that i was an expert on the War on Drugs and thought it was one of our countries most seriously flawed policies and one of our biggest failures of all times. *sigh* seriously... the two kids from the public defenders office were sitting there grinning ear to ear (and subsequently realized that all they really had to do was win my vote to get the jury) while the prosecutor didn't bother to listen to a word I was saying... it was so bad that when he said he'd take me, the judge looked at him, incredulous, and said, "um, really. YOU want HER?!?!? Really?!?"

after we acquitted the guy on the most serious charge, the poor kid looked like he'd been hit by a truck!!

I am very pro-justice and such, the system is needed. I just don't think they should force it upon people with fixed incomes or other issues that can be interrupted causing distress and so on.

I am in fact a former LEO who left the job due to a back injury. Not enough to get disability of any kind but enough to keep me from being in the field. It was injured in another job and not the LEO one, so I was kind of forced into the private sector. I have a degree in criminology and other stuff but I am now stuck in the simple field of security which in all things is boring, lame and sometimes frustrating. But it pays OK has some benefits but could be better, but I live in Florida which is mostly a labor state. I am in my mid 50's so we are lucky to have a job I suppose. They kick me out every time I have gone, which I would think by now they would have some kind of notarized questioner form you could fill out and send in to save the tax payers time and money.

Oh, well. Buddy I hope will be OK for the whole day on Monday. he will just miss a one shoot which I hope doe snot cause to many problems, they selection process takes all day (about 200 people being selected).

Thanks for the good thoughts and all.

Mike and the gang

Well, hopefully, being a former LEO should keep you off a jury panel. :) Brings a smile to my face to see Buddy continuing to do so well!! Hats off!!
