Hello, everyone! Happy Caturday!

I've been in the kitchen since 7 AM so I'm a little late posting today. Chaos bounced, of course, after yesterday's stellar surf. He's come down a good bit since AMPS but still nothing like yesterday. This is the part where we wait for him to clear the bounce and hope his numbers come back down to a nicer range. We have our paws crossed here! We have all 5 P's in place today and Chaos has been hanging around watching me work from under the coffee table. Just between you and me, I've had to pick more than one cat hair off of a finished cake with tweezers! I swear, it just floats in on the air and is attracted to cake... go figure. :roll:

Today's cakes have been picked up and now I'm working on tomorrow's. I will be happy when tomorrow rolls around and I have a break... if you call attending a baby shower a break! :lol:

I think we can all relate to the cat hair on the food thing. It is quite embarassing to realize there is a cat hair on something I have made for a potluck dinner and then have to somehow pick it off the food without anyone seeing me! Now I try to always inspect everything I make before it leaves my kitchen. Good luck with the baking and have fun at the shower.
 
Not much downward action to report. Chaos is at 229 at +6. Nothing too thrilling, but at least it's downward. I'm going to leave him alone until PMPS today since there's no chance of missing a low number at this point.

Chaos actually laid down on the new couch today. Progress continues. :mrgreen:

Karrie, I'm not sure a baby shower is a break :lol: No matter how many people are there, I am always selected as the one who writes down the gifts and who gave them. This particular baby shower is for my niece, who will be making me a great aunt for the second time in April. Other girls my age are having baby showers themselves, and I'm attending one as a great aunt. I feel so old! :lol: :lol: :lol:
