Hello dears!
After yesterday's disaster, she is so proud for the blue PMPS!
(I'm humbled by her look so full of trust even if sometimes the pick hurts... )
Tomorrow we are off to the vet for tests and installing the Libre! Finally!

Good luck with the Libre. (It’s quite easy to install yourself if you want to in the future).
Please make sure they do not use any glue to attach it.
Most of the time it just floods the sensor and it shuts it down and it also hurts their sensitive skin.
Just tell them you want no glue used!!
There is adhesive on the back of the sensor and if it’s covered by a T-shirt or something, she won’t be able to get to it.

Wow! That was quite a dive this morning! Easy does it, Blanche!

Great to see so much green in both cycles and that lovely blue PMPS! Good job not hitting her with carbs later in the cycle. You handled it like a pro!

No glue will be applied, be sure about that! I read the sticky so many times, this part is glued on

Maybe I didn't write it correctly. Since she had a very high AMPS I stalled feeding her till +2 in order to have the food help with her diving at +4.

It's wonderful to see blue preshots. Her body is getting used to lower numbers and not bouncing as much! You're also doing a great job of using food to flatten the curve!

Surprisingly, you might find that you have flatter cycles when preshots are lower.

I was really concerned at the preshot, I was pondering to shoot or not shoot and then I decide not to deprive her body from insulin and to close monitor her.
But I was ready for a steep diving honey at hand and all! And instead she is having a so smooth cycle, I can't believe it! (anti-jinx )
I love her numbers too!

What a beautiful cycle today! And best of luck with the Libre installation. I hope she tolerates it well. It's such a huge help to me with Gen, even though it causes trouble and anxiety sometimes too.

I will never stop being impressed by you and everyone who does so much manual testing. I know some cats tolerate it really well, but I'd have such a hard time with that (and with being awake to do PM cycles). Back when Gen was originally diagnosed in 2021, before remission, he used to respond to my attempts at ear pokes as though I was trying to murder him, fighting as hard as he could and running away. Nothing I tried helped. He's much better about it now, thank goodness, but still a bit resistant, and that's with me only doing it occasionally. Blanche is such a good girl, and she's lucky to have such a dedicated mom!

(I'll admit that I have been willing to shoot blind once or twice more recently when I had a badly-timed Libre error and didn't want to stall too much, but that was based on having a ton of data and the ability to somewhat predict how he'd respond!) Anyway, you're doing great, with some help from your little feline angel.
