J.D. and I worked a lot of hours yesterday, so it was a long day for both of us. He ate okay at work, and ate when we got home as usual. This morning, he doesn't want to eat that much, but I did get him to eat some baby food via spoon.
At first when I tried to take the spoon away, he wraps his arms and paws around my hand with the spoon in it to draw it closer to him.

I'll try to feed him some more in a bit.

I can so picture the "wrap and pull" move that J.D. does :-D My GA Leo used to do that with almost anything spoon fed. It is so darn cute.

He definitely doesn't want you to take his num nums away from him, Mama. :lol: I hope that his appetite improves very quickly, and he gives you lower #s very soon. I could be wrong, however, I think the reason why he wasn't very hungry this morning was because he seemed like he ate quite a bit yesterday. Just a guess. Try and have a great day. :YMHUG:

I love it when they grab your hand with their paw or reach for you (or fuds!). :-D . I hope your day is better today!
 
I received a call from my Brother In Law today and they have moved the services to Friday/Saturday, so there is a very small chance that I can go. I called J.D.'s vet to see if I could get a Health Certificate and if he would need more blood work again although he just had blood work two weeks ago, and our new regular vet is on vacation this week. Our old regular vet called back and said that they have vet techs that do house calls, so I will look into it. I can get a flight out using my miles on Friday and if the funeral is on Saturday, maybe I can catch a late flight back home. I don't know. Maybe, it's just a dream.. a very sad dream...
I left a message for the pet sitter to call me back at 8:00pm. I have a very important H.O.A. meeting to go to tonight, and I also really really need to hit the grocery store, so I don't know how I'm supposed to do all this.

I hope J.D. is on his way down. He ate a bit of left over food at PMPS. I'll give him some Miralax with another meal, then I have to hit the road, because they are starting the meeting at 6:00pm, and I'm already late.

((((Dyana)))), I, too, hope that the schedule will be such that you'll be able to be there to say farewell to your sister and to be comforted by being with your family. We will think positively that it will all work out.
