Awwwwww...look at that sweet girl snoozing in her sun spot!

How are you doing Adrienne? I know it's tough being on the slow slow road to recovery. I hope it's progressing somewhat. One day at a time, one small step at a time...

Hoping soon you'll have all of this in the far rear-view mirror.

. Hi Sue, as always, thank you so much for your thoughts :). For whatever reason today has been the worst. Not just the pain but just feeling lousy in general. I know well One Day At A Time. :bookworm: Today I feel like I’ve gone backwards. Waiting on authorization for ultrasound. My surgeon told me I may have blood clots. He is out of network so he just gave me a script and told me to take it to wherever I go for tests. I wish it was that simple. It was already after 5 so insurance group was closed. Doctor not in. Had the whole weekend to worry about dying from a blood clot. DQ:p Left message for my primary and it’s been handled. The surgeon also told me I have been up too much. Getting up and down is a challenge. My daughter brought me something to use as a sling to lift my leg up or down for getting off and on the bed etc. I have little control over lifting my leg.

I hope you are doing well. So happy you had such a special outing. Hope your husband is managing the pain. I know for me most days I can with meds but days like today nothing works. I hope he isn’t having days like that. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: And extra hugs for sweet Luci :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I love kitties in the sun :cat: Nice surfing Dolly :D Hope you are healing Adrienne :bighug:
Hi Susanne, always nice to hear from you. :) Jax is doing so well. :joyful: Hope you are doing well also. Last but not least hope Benji is doing well. I imagine I am healing but today it doesn’t feel like it. Every day is a surprise. I still can’t get out of bed until I take a pain pill and it takes affect. I can’t just swing my legs down and get up. My injured leg isn’t working yet. It takes awhile to get it together and get the walker moving. I apologize for the poor me attitude :arghh: I am testing Dolly most of the time, she is so happy. Her poor little ear is so bruised, it was a learning process for my husband. She’s finally letting me test the other ear. I don’t know if I told you but it’s so funny, when I test she refuses treats and food from my husband. I have to give it to her. Have a wonderful evening Susanne and thanks for listening to me go on and on. Jax surf safely and Benji be a good boy. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Hugs from Dolly to Benji. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for listening to me complain along with a little bit of poor me. I am not good at being grounded and not good at having others do everything for me. My gratitude to my husband and daughter is endless. My gratitude to the people on FD is endless as well. I love every post, checking often throughout the day for messages. :joyful::joyful::joyful: Thank you.

My daughter took my husband for a haircut and brought me home a box of See’s candy. Yum

I'm so sorry to hear that :(

I hope the pain subsides and that they can rule out blood clots! Last thing you need is a clot!! When you mentioned the extreme swelling to me a while back that was my first thought...the key to those things is to not have them break loose! You don't want that thing traveling around to more important parts like lungs or brain! Are you on Heparin? I'm sending you my strongest healing vines this morning! I hope because of the time difference you are sleeping deeply!!!

Thanks. I’m on Eloquist, sorry for the spelling.
