Working on my first ~O) since I woke up at 5:30. Didn't get much sleep at all last night due to a widespread storm, which Monica and Atticus also experienced since they're west of me. Now, we have a nice big ball of rain above our heads, and there's still lightning and thunder.

I moved the FF T&G to the PS times to hopefully slow the drop a bit. She's getting +1 and +2 of Evo, and her +3 is normal too (0.30 oz. raw turkey cutlet). All I can hope for is that these #s start coming down. I hope that I'm not going to regret my decision to move the FF.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Come on down Blackie! We have had 5 inches of rain, lots of thunder, lightening, etc. and 5 more expected today and tonight. Nothing like getting it all at once huh? :lol: Have a great day Angela!

Hi Angela, I also use the FF T& G for Maggie, and it acts more like a hc for her. Hope Blackie comes down. Sounds like terrible weather there for all of you right now. Our storm has just passed. Have a nice day.

This is the second time I've heard about the FF T&G being a higher carb food than the list says. I am glad I found out because I was using it in a rotation with the FF chicken!

That was some storm, wasn't it? We had lots of little people and animals up and about last night.

Now that we can't talk about the weird winter weather anymore, we can start in on the strange spring. :lol: I hope it clears up without doing any damage.

Hi Angela & Blackie,

Good luck with moving the FF T&G. You are at least gathering more data with your food and feeding experiments. FF T&G tends to raise Rusty's bgs, too (I believe that it is about 7% carbs now, although I can't see where these carbs are hiding from reading the list of ingredients on the can--perhaps in the giblets??). I think it is worth a try to see if it will slow a drop if fed at PS. Give it a few days and if it doesn't work, you will know to try something else. I feed Rusty FF T&G when he is going too low to keep him from dropping further (and I also feed a little of it as a "treat" at bedtime because he loves it so).

I hope you are getting some much needed rain, but I'm sure you would prefer to have it rain more gently for a longer time!

I'm not liking how this is going with her. :( This is totally unBlackielike. I'm considering cutting the FF T&G in 1/2 tomorrow, and giving 0.50 oz. of that along with 0.50 oz. of Evo during her PS, and leaving the other feedings alone.
