Sorry, I'm so late in posting. I gave J.D. some R last night, but I guess he was just rising because he didn't really respond to it, and that has happened before when he is on the way up with a bounce.

This morning, I slept in and then later when I stepped outside go take the cats outside, I thought I saw an ostrich!
Or someones lost emu

He was so tall. His head looked like it was past my waist, and I have long legs. The cats didn't even see him
He had really long legs and a red head and a big ole black thing hanging down from his chest. I followed him into the parking lot and then he went across the street and into the woods. I think he woke me up more than my coffee did.

J.D. didn't want his breffis until I sprinkled FortiFlora on it. He was underfoot while I was in the kitchen and poking his head in the frig when I opened it, looking for goodies. So, I asked him if he wanted some shrimp.. and then I took some out of the freezer to defrost. Hopefully, he'll earn them later.

I am off to do an errand or two. bbl.

wow! Binks would LOVE to have that in his yard!

me, um...not so much. One turkey in this household is enough.

looks like the boy decided he'd gone high enough...nice +6!

What an exciting morning! My parents have turkeys at their place in Iowa from time to time, and curiously, even though my office is technically in the city of Kansas City, Missouri, it is in an area near (the world's largest) a municipal park. My window overlooks a parking lot and a large field, and it is not uncommon for me to see deer, turkey, and all other kinds of furry little critters. Always just blows my mind a little!

JD is having a lovely cycle today... hope the greens continue tonight!
