Good morning, everyone!

I am back in fighting shape today. I kept pretty mellow yesterday, only venturing out to buy test strips and food for beans and kitties. Chaos did a good job posting yesterday, though. And then he was strangely absent... he must have sneaked out for some pre-Super Moon party action with Rusty and Manny and the guys. I could swear I smelled nip-tinis on his breath this AM. I think the moon must be "pullin' on his brain juice" as DH would say, because the lowest he got yesterday was 170 at +6. No green for St. Pat's. He is such a bouncy boy- I don't know what to do for him!
He has been his usual happy self, purry and playful with a scattering of naps. Big Black Furry Spider Season has officially begun here. The score so far: Spiders ~ 0, Violet ~ 2, with an assist from Chaos. No joke, I think he is faster and stronger, and I have seen his muscle tone visibly improve since he started the all-wet diet, so maybe he can kill a few more of those ugly suckers for me this year. Grass Pukus Season is also officially open, with Chaos throwing the celebratory First Barf yesterday afternoon. It's going to be in the 60's here for a few days so I will be seeing more of that, I'm sure.
I have held the 2.25u dose and no more low greens yet. I'm keeping a watchful eye, since Chaos proved on Wednesday that he has the power to astonish us somewhere within his dense, furry body. I stayed out of the kitchen yesterday, though my hands were itching to work... I will be back at it today because the white chocolate fondant I ordered was delivered and I need to play with it! Attached are the St Pat's cupcakes I made for my mom's Bible study group.
