No symptoms. She has not eaten very well today. We were going so well, then they ran out of broths at the shops, which I give her to test her, so I boiled some chicken instead and I was able to test her, but it ruined our routine or something else happened and she has not eaten her usual amount today. I also gave her some different FF because she’s been fussy and I wanted her to eat. Maybe she’s had an upset tummy from the changes.
Do I go so far as to give dry food or just some higher carb wet? Retest in 39mins or an hour?
I’m on my phone so can’t figure out how to post our last thread. Will try to in a minute.

So looks like you're using a human meter. 58 is above the too low line. 49 and lower. If she isnt showing symptoms then it's ok she is just lower than you are used to seeing. It's ok I know how scary it can be.

Also looks like you are already at +4 sonshe is probably about done dropping

Hi Rowena, 58 on a human meter is a normal number. Has she eaten anything after the test? Any low carb canned food is fine. No need to intervene with higher carb food,
Test in 30 mins.

I wouldnt give her dry at all no. Try a little LC wet see if you can get her to nibble. Since she isnt in a danger zone let's not overcompensate.

Thank you. It is a human meter. It’s the middle of the night. She is still 3.2 after 30mins. Can I go back to sleep or do I need to retest again? We’re 20ml a away from +5.

Did you feed her usual low carb food or higher carb?

Think you can stay up another 20 mins and get a +5 to be extra safe?

It's the middle of the night and you've had a scare! We would all be in the same place! :bighug:
She wouldn’t let me retest her. :(.
She wanted to go outside, so I fetched her some grass. I tried to retest her while she ate it, but she would not let me. I suspect she will vomit the grass shortly. She must have an upset tummy, although she just did a solid poo!
