I'm sure I should have tested more last night. I think he probably went lower than the 106.

He was making those awful noises again (3 times) in the middle of the night, and when I went to investigate each time, he had his toy in his mouth. The first 2 times part of it was stuck under a house plant (it's a mousie on a string on a wand) and the 3rd time after I freed it from the plant the 2nd time, he was dragging it in the direction of bed. He will often do this. If I go to bed and he wakes up and finds himself alone in his bed in the livingroom, then he will grab his toy and drag it to bed, making the noises.

J.D. didn't want his breffis with Cosequin in it, until I put some pieces of shrimp on top...and when that was gone, some freeze dried salmon treat dust. Breffis is now finished and he is laying in his bed by the window.

I have yet to get used to this waking up in the dark. I again woke up late, and sleepily prepared his shot, and meal, and now it's almost time to get ready for work, again.

Good morning guys. Sounds like J.D. was doing a little hunting. I think that is the cutest thing with kitties act like they really caught something special. :-D I hope you all a wonderful day.

Hi Dyana,
Maggie has that same exact toy with a mousie on a string attached to a pole. I find her talking in the middle of the night only to find her sitting there with the mousie in her mouth signaling to me it's play date time! I sometimes test her thinking she may be low, but usually it's an okay number. Have a nice day and hope J.D. comes down.

Morning guys,

I had to chuckle at the mouse thing....

MudCat is my 'present presenter.' She often walks around the house at night meowing in the loud most awful ways. When I first got her I thought something was wrong....only to find she had a mousy toy. I have since learned to ignore her and relish the idea she is engaged in some sort of self play. I often find play mice at the foot of the bed where she has presented them.

:lol: JD is such a funny boy....amusing himself at your expense. I thought Ralphie was the only kitty that did that...he would be walking around the house during the night doing that noise and in the morning I would find toys all over the house and the bed. He hasn't done that in a while, since he has been having leg problems, and I do miss it....well, kind of....he doesn't go around w/the toys, he just makes the noise.
I, too, am having problems adjusting to this dark stuff in the morning...only because now it's very hard to see if garage cat has left me a prezzie in front of the car :lol: but I am liking the longer evenings...just think....spring, summer, pool....ahhhhhh relish in the thought!

Morning Dyana...glad you got the breffis compiled properly...wow...do you spoil your babies or what? :lol:
Shrimp on top and then what? FD salmon? What a life! I better not let Raj read this condo. But, she doesn't like fishy stuff, but still. A Bean who fusses like you do is a hero in her eyes. I think food is her life!

I had a black bunny fur mouse here for the longest time for my two. The other morning, it was all wet and there was black fur all over the rug. Wonder what it did to cause it's demise? "Someone" ripped it apart...so it was the trash can for the little cute mousie. J.D. sounds like quite the hunter!!

Little Annie Fannie is my gift giver. She is a girl who takes after your namesake, Dyana...the Huntress!

I always sing her praise over the little critter carcasses, then discreetly toss them in the trash when she's not around.
She thinks i'm on a raw food diet :lol:

Nice numbers yesterday, sorry to see the bouncing now but I know it will clear.

Funny, one of my civvies is carrying one of her toys around upstairs making strange noises. She takes them into the hallway sometimes but is not usually this vocal about it. Must be spring in the air or something. Have to agree on the dark mornings, tough to get used to.
