amps 227, yay, so happy he stayed low, lowest in a while, I know am trying to not get too excited but seems like he is liking this new dose!!! He couldn't wait to get me up this morning to feed him, he sat next to my ear and purred and pawed at me for over an hour to get up.

Scrabble is inching his way down & will be at green soon!! I just feel it! :mrgreen:

Up and down is the nature of the sugardance. I know it's frustrating, but things will even out. We all get frustrated from time to time and want things to clear up faster. Our kitties go at their own pace. Scrabble is working his way through this and all a bean can do is be there to support. You care for him and are doing all the right things to let him start healing. So take a deep breath, repeat. Chocolate helps too.

Just a thought: how soon after feeding do you test. For preshots it is advised to take food up at least 2 hours before. If I see a high number anytime I always take into account if I know, or think, Tess might have eaten anything closer to the shot than 2 hours.

+8 312 ok he didn't shoot up that is good, I do not feed for at least 2 hours before preshot. I feed him 3-4 times a day, before insulin, middle of the day and usually a little at night.
 
PMPS 291 yay he didn't jump up like crazy, maybe he is getting used to the lower numbers! Wish I could test him tonight to see where he goes but this is my early night at work so I have to leave right after his shot. See ya in the am!!!
