It's been a lazy day, and as I told J.D. we could sleep in today, we did.
Neither cat would eat the first served Breffis this morning. J.D. sniffed it and walked on, and Ginger immediately tried to bury it. I ended up giving J.D. some baby food beef with gravy (I was all out of baby food beef with broth), and went back to sleep. At +5, I tried a different flavor and he ate a bit of that. At +6.5, I finally got out the right flavor FF Chunky Turkey and he ate a good portion.
J.D. and Ginger are still in bed, and it's almost 2:30pm. I need to get them up for a walk in the sunshine. Tomorrow, I have to work, so no sunshine tomorrow, and the next day on Monday it will be snowing. I called the vet about our 8:30am appointment on Monday and what they do if it snows and she said they will be there. That's a thumbs up. I only live around the corner and about a mile away, so if my car can push through the snow (and I can get J.D. to my car), then that's a go.
I hope his blood work results are better on Monday.
Off to get the kitties out of bed and out in the cold sunshine, and then I have to go shopping (with all the crazies (buying up all the bread, milk, and eggs because of the coming snow storm) at the grocery store), and do laundry for the week. Taxes and weekly housework can wait until Monday.
