I'm watching her LB to see if there's any liquipoo, and so far (knock on wood), nothing. She's definitely liking the fact that there's a different food to her diet. :lol: She's preening, purring, pacing, thwapping her tail, looking at me, talking... And yesterday, or the day before, I caught her trying to take the nail sheaths off of her rear toe nails. Don't think I've seen her do that in a very long time. Play has left the building. Unfortunately. But pacing, and following Momma Bean around seems to have taken the place of play for her exercise. :-D

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Hi Angela & Blackie,
I didn't realize that you were feeding FF T&G to get Blackie's numbers up so that you could give more insulin to bring the PS down. I hope it works for you. FF T&G tends to raise Rusty's bg, so I feed it to keep him from dropping further if he seems to be going too low. The best thing about it is that all the kitties love it. (What's in it?!!)

Anyway, good luck. It can't hurt to do what you're doing.

Good luck on your food experiment! You are a great bean and if anybody can do it it would be you. Nice that the preening is picking up. That is Tarragon's new fascination. He has never been a big groomer, even pre FD. It is great, but now he is a little hairball factory. :lol: Have a great day Angela!

+2 - 1 oz. FF T&G
+3 - 0.20 oz. raw turkey cutlet
+5 90

I'm going to move her +2 FF T&G fuds to the PS feeding time, and see what happens. I'll put back the Evo to the +2 spot.

why? your current plan appears to be working. if i were in your shoes i would give the FF T&G mini-meal at +2 some time to work. if the +2 feeding will prop up her nadir you'll be able to add more insulin into the picture to pull down those ps numbers. not yet, but soon.

She hasn't shown a lower PS # like this since 02/23, which was 118 on that evening. :)
