J.D. didn't eat that well when I got home last night, but there was a good amount of food gone from what I left out for the cats when I went to work, so I don't know how much he ate during the day while I was gone.
I only gave him 1 drop of R this time. I guess he still came down too fast.
At +1.5 I gave him some cypro and syringed some very watery (my fault for adding too much water) MaxCal, and he ate fine after that.
He was purry in my face while I laid on the couch last night. He did not come to bed with me, but slept beside the bed.

This morning, he got up when I did at +11, and he acted hungry, so I gave him a couple Halo's freeze dried beef.
He ate his 1st Breffis, and some of his 2nd Breffis so far.

I just counted my Terumo syringes and have enough to last until Tuesday morning, as long as I don't ruin any by dropping them or poking myself in the tongue with them like a did a couple weeks ago :shock: I got an order in this morning and am hoping they arrive in time by Tuesday evening.

I'm glad it's Friday. Tomorrow is sleep in day.

It had something to do with my injured right arm being weak and keeping the orange syringe cap between my front teeth in my mouth, as I measured the dose with the syringe in one hand and the calipers in the other, and I don't know for some reason my lesser smart left arm (blame it on the arm, uh huh), tried to put the cap back on the syringe (to take it over to J.D.), by inserting the syringe full of insulin back into the cap that was still in my mouth, and missed.

I've been watching this mare and foal cam, and it's hard to break away to go to work, but to work I must go.

Hope the syringes last till Tuesday and sheesh on the silly left arm poking your tongue :?

I'm glad J.D. ate for you this morning. I hope he has a good appy tonight too. Hopefully your syringes will get there before you run out. Ouch on poking your tongue.

The old saying is "don't put anything smaller than your elbow in your mouth". I hope your arm is getting better, Dyana. Be careful in the big snowstorm!

J.D. seemed to eat well today, in that most of the food left out was eaten when I returned home from work, and he was eating as I walked out the door this morning.
I had about 25 minutes between coming home from work, and going to a H.O.A. meeting, and we got a quick walk in, and I left out 1 whole can of FF when I left and it was eaten when I got home.

I had received a tracking number from ADW that said my expected delivery date on the syringes is Wednesday. I decided to look in J.D. "supply case" that I take with me to work when he accompanies me, and I found two more syringes YAY. That should get me through Wednesday morning. I'll never wait this long again. I just grabbed from the box and had no idea I was getting that low. I ordered two boxes this time.

I was yawning heavily (as I often do), during the H.O.A. meeting, so I am so off to bed.
