WCR: Weight = 10.95 lbs. At least her weight is going down. This morning, she ate something off the floor just after her test, and before her test, she licked something off the floor. I expect higher #s this evening. She just ate some more contraband +1 as one of her daughters, Tiny, threw up. Great.
In the meantime, I'm dealing with another cat issue. Jr. Mint, one of Blackie's sons, is losing weight too rapidly. In the space of 2 days, he was 9.41 lbs., and 2 days later he was 9.12 lbs. He's a UTI patient, and I'm at a loss as to what he wants to eat. I can't give him any regular food due to the higher magnesium content in it. He's drinking water, which is good, has urinated and pooped. I did find a can of Friskies Special Diet for UTI patients in the cupboard, and thankfully it's still good, and he's been eating that. I need to get more for him. I'm not sure how much longer he'll make it, and right now, I'm fighting with DH about taking him to the vet to get BW done for him. I actually woke up before 4 this morning, and I honestly thought I'd see him laying there, not moving. He was laying in a clothes basket, and when I touched him, he felt cold to the touch. I found a couple of old, somewhat holey thermal shirts that DH won't wear anymore, and put them on him for warmth. He didn't like it, and jumped out of the basket. I did feed him a bit around that time, and when it was their regular feeding time, he bearly ate anything, but drank some water.
