We've had a quiet week, consistant low and then consistant high numbers. No huge bounces with scary low numbers. He seems to behave himself when I have to work and am not able to watch him as closely.

Our new vet (of 2 weeks) called yesterday to check in, I was impressed with that. She's been checking his SS everyday and has no real concerns, just said to keep doing what I'm doing and pay close attention to his clinical signs and not get freaked out over his numbers (my words, not hers). Max is doing really great. His energy level is good, he's drinking a lot less than he was and therefore smaller LB deposits. His appetite is good and his fur is shiner now that he is being treated ( it was looking kinda dull and dry before).

So, all in all, so far, a quiet weekend for us. Hope you all have a great one.

If it were me, once the bounce cleared, I might think about adding some fat to Max's dose. (This means increasing the dose so you're shooting between 0.5 and 0.75u -- essentially adding about a drop or two to his dose.)

Sounds like you've found a good vet and what a lovely WCR, nice to hear that Max is looking and feeling better.
