Good morning everyone :)

Pip has come down from his bounce, I never know if I should leave out a bit of MC when his AMPS is below 150... usually he does fine but it's always a bit stressful to leave for school for the day.

My best friend recently adopted a rescue cat from a shelter and he came down with FCV and is now in quarantine at the ER vet and she is cleaning her house with bleach and praying her other cat doesnt get it... She had just taken him out of home quarantine and introduced the cats 3 days ago :( Not diabetes related but I am shook!

Wishing everyone a wonderful day and a safe surf 💕 🏄‍♀️

Hope Pip has a very safe surf! 🏄‍♂️
As far as the MC food, you’ll have to look at his patterns to see how fast he comes down from a blue amps to get to green BG.
Seems he does that pretty often.
If you feel more comfortable leaving a slightly higher carb (maybe higher LC) to help him surf safely while you’re out) could be an option.
How carb sensitive is Pip?
Does he need LC to surf safely or need a bit of a higher carb?

So sorry about your friend’s kitty! I hope they are all ok 🙏❤️‍🩹🍀🍀🍀

Pip responds well to food in general, HC is definitely too much but MC usually does the trick when he is getting low.

I will try to find a higher LC like 7-8% that's actually a great idea!

Thank you so much and have a nice evening :)

Hi Allie :)

I've been pretty exhausted still but managing school and life a bit better than last week :)
Thank you for asking!

How about you and Gen?
I'm so glad things are a bit better! I hope you can keep taking it a bit slow, take good care of yourself. 💕

Gen's been seeing some better numbers lately, and we're mostly waiting on the vet's input after his ultrasound on Friday. And I'm hanging in there! Got to ride my bike to work today for the first time since the big storm, so that was good. Just can't wait for spring.
