Good Evening,

Whiskers and my mom spent 4 hours at the university today. (It was supposed to take 1 1/2 hours) (I was home sick). She had the ACTH stim test today, as well as blood work to recheck the electrolytes. They checked her ears the bacteria is gone, but not the yeast. (poor thing has had ear drops for 3 weeks). We are to discontinue Mometomax and switch to clotrimazole for another 1 to 2 weeks. The test results will be back in 24-48 hours and the vet will call with the results.
The IM vet was asked about our dog Bandit. He said that dog with Glomerulonephritis usually dies within one month (we were never told this). Bandit was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago. He said he had to have had a very slight leason which has healed, or it was caught very early on. The tremors could be from small blood clots or something (tumor?) in the brain. Asked if he would see Bandit, and he will, but he is off the next two weeks, and of course there is the never ending money issue. Bandit seems to be fine that last couple days, happy active dog. Would rather take him the the U instead of another vet, as the U actually seems to charge less?!?
hoping you are all having a good night. Keeping Rocket, Blackie, Willie, Peeps, and Butthead in our prayers.
