Well, exciting night last night. high carb and a drop of honey brought him up nicely.

dose down to .75. We'll see where Gentle takes us. His 15th birthday is coming up next month. He's been on insulin for 6-7 years now, and still going strong.

Hi guys .. I'll say that was an interesting night .. congrats on the dose reduction .. I hope it holds! So nice to see a kitty doing so well on insulin, after so many years .. as long as they are happy and healthy, right? Have a great day guys!

yeah, I remember our vet telling us Gentle would only live 2-3 years. Which I'm sure would have been true if we hadn't found the forum.
