Sam is looking good...my eyes are a bit bloodshot. :YMSIGH: The pm +9 snack is working well, back in the green. I'm disappointed in my new Cat-Mate 50 auto-feeder. Didn't realize you could only set it for every 4 hrs (in actuality it only allows me to set it every 6!). That just isn't gonna work. It's even too far apart to get Sam even used to the sound. I will use it until I can find another that will set whenever I want. So much for a good deal. I'll just try to re-sell it on Craig's. Any other suggestions for feeders?? Have a wonderful Sunday everybody!

we're using the PetSafe with 5 compartments http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-5-Meal-Electronic-Pet-Feeder/dp/B000GEWHNS/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20- but as a couple of people pointed out the bowls are pretty deep. punkin just sticks his head in without a problem. you can set it for any times - i've had it go off at 10am, 11am and noon lots of times.

i think ella might've been the person who said they had one that didn't rotate fully open, but i haven't had that problem. so far no issues. we've been using it every day for perhaps a month. i like it.

sam - ohmygosh he's looking super. again. :mrgreen:

I'm glad the snack is doing the trick. :smile: Before, it was looking like Sam might need a slight dose increase, but now it is looking like he might be able to try a reduction before long. :mrgreen:
