I increased J.D.'s dose a hair this morning.
Again neither cat wanted to eat their breffis. Because I have the day off today, and because onset isn't until about +4, I didn't feel a need to push them. Then Ginger came up to me and kept staring at me :lol: Finally, a half hour later, I got up again, and added freeze dried chicken liver dust topping and 1st Breffis was mostly :roll: eaten by both.

There was no throw up this morning!
I was bad and didn't pick up the leftover food in the middle of the night, and I wonder when they ate that. I know Ginger (and sometimes J.D.) likes to eat at +11. Maybe they munched at +11, and thus no throw up. But no, the clear bile that J.D. throws up in the morning because of an empty stomach, isn't the same as the food he was throwing up yesterday and the day before in the morning (when there was no food for him to eat in the middle of the night). I don't know.

Anyway, our vet appointment is today. Hoping the bloodwork comes back just as good as last November.

No Pukus, but ..he had some diarrhea, and for once he used the litter box upstairs, which I put up here for his convenience and he has been refusing, until now

J.D. got felt and examined and squeezed and listened to and flashlight in the eyes and blood taken, at the vet.
The doctor said his heart sounds okay (I should have asked him why he didn't say good, I'll have to ask him when he calls with the blood test results), his eyes have cataracts (we knew that), his gums were not pale, his kidneys felt fine ..

Dag Nabit, he just threw up, again!! :sad: . grrrrrrr

That's exactly what Ginger looked like at 0.5 this morning...when she wanted sprinkles, on her food! :lol:
All this talk about food, and J.D. is bugging me. Jumping up on my computer desk and standing in front of the monitor so I can not see what I'm typing. It's only +10.5, J.D. You have a ways to wait.

Anyone know of a cat food that is especially easy on the tummy?

Glad J.D. used the new tray for that one!!!

No good on the pukus, does that happen when his numbers have a large fluctuation perhaps? Vyktor has puked food twice in the last month and I don't remember him ever doing that pre FD I'm thinking it may be to do with a preceeding big variation in BG, although of course it doesn't happen everytime there is such a variation - where is the answer book!

I had some coupons for Evangers and went to the "Gourmet" Pet Food store in downtown (the only place around that sells it). I bought one can of Grain Free Rabbit and one of Grain Free Pheasant I have never fed rabbit to my cats because I used to have rabbits (lots of rabbits :razz: ) as pets. But, I showed J.D. the two cans, and he chose rabbit, so that's what they had for dinner and they both liked it. The store person said it was not a complete diet (no added vitamins or minerals), so he gave me a packet of vitamins to add (bacon flavered vitamins). I did not add the vitamins.

One of these days, I am going to learn to make my own cat food..

Nature's Variety makes a canned rabbit if you can find it. (current shortage util April :evil: ). Hint with Nature's Variety is that their canned cat foods are the same as their canned dog foods. The food is nutritionally design for cats, but can be fed to dogs. :lol:

Primal also has a raw rabbit?

Are they complete diets? Like with the Taurine and all the needed vitamins and stuff?

I once bought some Nature Variety raw nuggets and J.D. barely ate it, and Ginger totally refused.
I think if I do ever get around to making my own cat food, I'll start with cooked food

2nd Dinner has been eaten. Well, J.D. ate his 2nd helping of Rabbit. Ginger said 1 helping was enough and is not interested in any 2nd rabbit dinner.


I'm off to hopefully, get some shut eye, as tomorrow is a work day.

I searched and searched through all my hundreds of cat photos and only found only little picture where she was kind of sort of looking my direction from a distance.

I think she always looks away when being photoed. She doesn't look into my eyes very often, but she did this morning.

J.D. is not going to make my early to bed easy. He just ate his 3rd helping of dinner and then pushed his way into Ginger's bowl and probably ate half or more of hers. I'll have to be thawing out shrimp, pretty soon.
